Restaurant La Cuba is one of the most respected restaurants not only in Chipiona but has many clients from elsewhere including Seville. My lady and I have been going there for several years and we are never let down. The place is run by a married couple, Pedro (the Chef) and his wife Inma who oversees the dining room and bar. The ambience is clean, friendly with almost a family feel about it. The food is authentic Andalucian, with a few dishes from other regions, all cooked by Pedro, a very experienced Chef. He shops locally for his produce getting his fresh fish from the auctions. One of his specialities I love is fresh fish (Corvina for example) either plainly griddled or in one of several sauces, mmm yummie! There is often a \\\"Suggestions of the day\\\" addition to the normal menu, depending what he finds at the market or auctions. At lunchtime there is also a menu of the day which is really good value. I really rate the ambience, service and quality of the food, not to mention value for money. This is a proper restaurant, and although it has an excellent bar, the tapas menu is not as extensive as some bar-restaurants in the area, but it more than makes up for it in quality. There is also a less formal sitting area near the bar with the full menu available, and also tables outside in nice weather. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
